  2         An act relating to alcoholic beverage licenses;

  3         authorizing the Division of Alcoholic Beverages

  4         and Tobacco to issue a special alcoholic

  5         beverage license to the Board of Directors of

  6         the Dunedin Fine Art Center, Inc., for use at

  7         the center; providing definitions; providing

  8         for the transfer and reverter of the license;

  9         prohibiting the package sale of alcoholic

10         beverages for consumption off the premises;

11         providing an effective date.

13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14

15         Section 1.  Definitions; authorization for issuance and

16  transfer of license; reverter of license; prohibition of

17  package sales.--

18         (1)  Unless the context clearly indicates a different

19  meaning, words and terms used in this section shall have the

20  same meanings as in the Beverage Law, chapters 561-565, 567,

21  and 568, Florida Statutes.

22         (2)  The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of

23  the Department of Business and Professional Regulation is

24  hereby authorized, upon application, to issue a special

25  alcoholic beverage license to the Board of Directors of the

26  Dunedin Fine Art Center, Inc., for use at the Dunedin Fine Art

27  Center, for special events only. The board may transfer the

28  license from time to time to qualified applicants who are

29  either authorized by or under contract with the board to

30  provide food services at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, provided

  1  that the license shall not be valid for use at any location

  2  other than the Dunedin Fine Art Center.

  3         (3)  Upon termination, for whatever reason, of a

  4  transferee's authorization or contract to provide food

  5  services at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, the alcoholic

  6  beverage license described in this section shall revert

  7  automatically by operation of law to the Dunedin Fine Art

  8  Center, Inc.

  9         (4)  Any license issued pursuant to this section shall

10  not permit the Dunedin Fine Art Center, Inc., or its

11  transferees to sell alcoholic beverages in sealed containers

12  for consumption off the premises where sold.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
