  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to representative and

  3         senatorial districts; declaring legislative

  4         intent; providing an effective date.

  6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  7

  8         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature that

  9  the apportionment of representative and senatorial districts

10  occur earlier than the regular session in the second year

11  following each decennial census.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

13  law.
