11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity
12  recommended the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 65, between lines 9 and 10,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 22.  Subsection (2) of section 768.28, Florida
19  Statutes, is amended to read:
20         768.28  Waiver of sovereign immunity in tort actions;
21  recovery limits; limitation on attorney fees; statute of
22  limitations; exclusions; indemnification; risk management
23  programs.--
24         (2)  As used in this act, "state agencies or
25  subdivisions" include the executive departments, the
26  Legislature, the judicial branch (including public defenders),
27  and the independent establishments of the state; counties and
28  municipalities; state university boards of regents; and
29  corporations primarily acting as instrumentalities or agencies
30  of the state, counties, or municipalities, including the
31  Spaceport Florida Authority.
