12          Representative Kallinger offered the following:

14          Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
15          On page 8, between line(s) 30 and 31,
16          insert:
17          Section 8. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
18    Government Accountability shall review and recommend appropriate
19    changes to the laws of this state affecting mold remediation
20    companies, mold remediation contractors, and mold training
21    providers. In conducting the review, the office shall consider
22    input from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to,
23    the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the
24    Department of Health, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer
25    Services, and the Department of Environmental Protection. The
26    review shall evaluate the need for any changes and additions to
27    those laws which may be appropriate to protect the health,
28    safety, and welfare of consumers. By February 1, 2004, the
29    office shall submit a report of its findings and recommendations
30    to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of
31    the House of Representatives.
