11  The Committee on Ways and Means (Pruitt) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 28, lines 3-22, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         551.117  Compulsive gambling program.--The division may
19  contract for provision of services related to the prevention
20  and treatment of compulsive and addictive gambling.  The terms
21  of any contract for the provision of such services shall
22  include accountability standards that must be met by any
23  private provider.  The failure of any private provider to meet
24  any material terms of the contract, including the
25  accountability standards, shall constitute a breach of
26  contract or grounds for nonrenewal.  The division may consult
27  with the Department of the Lottery in the development of the
28  program and the development and analysis of any procurement
29  for contractual services for its compulsive or addictive
30  gambling prevention and treatment program.  The compulsive or
31  addictive gambling prevention and treatment program shall be

 1  funded from the annual nonrefundable regulatory fee provided
 2  for in this section.  The licensee must pay to the division an
 3  annual nonrefundable regulatory fee of $100 per slot machine,
 4  on July 1, of each year, which shall be deposited into the
 5  Pari-Mutuel Wagering Trust Fund.
