11  The Committee on Judiciary (Webster) recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 2, line 14, through page 3, line 7, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  pari-mutuel permitholder was authorized to
19  conduct pari-mutuel wagering activities pursuant to such
20  permitholder's valid pari-mutuel permit or as otherwise
21  authorized by law provided a majority of voters in a
22  countywide referendum have approved the possession of slot
23  machines at such facility in the respective county.
24  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, it is not a crime
25  for a person to participate in slot machine gaming at a
26  facility licensed to possess and conduct slot machine gaming
27  or to participate in slot machine gaming described in this
28  chapter.
29         551.102 Definitions.--As used in this chapter, the
30  term:
31         (1)  "Central control computer" means a central site
