  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to building designations;

  3         designating the H. William Heller Hall at the

  4         University of South Florida St. Petersburg;

  5         designating the John S. Curran, M.D.,

  6         Children's Health Center at the University of

  7         South Florida St. Petersburg; directing the

  8         university to erect suitable markers; providing

  9         effective dates.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12  

13         Section 1.  H. William Heller Hall designated;

14  University of South Florida St. Petersburg to erect suitable

15  markers.--

16         (1)  Coquina Hall, on the campus of the University of

17  South Florida St. Petersburg, is designated as the "H. William

18  Heller Hall."

19         (2)  The University of South Florida St. Petersburg is

20  directed to erect suitable markers and signs designating the

21  H. William Heller Hall as described in subsection (1).

22         Section 2.  John S. Curran, M.D., Children's Health

23  Center designated; University of South Florida St. Petersburg

24  to erect suitable markers.

25         (1)  Notwithstanding section 267.062, Florida Statutes,

26  the building located at the University of South Florida St.

27  Petersburg which will house the Children's Medical Services of

28  the Department of Health is designated as the "John S. Curran,

29  M.D., Children's Health Center."

30         (2)  The University of South Florida St. Petersburg is

31  directed to erect suitable markers designating the John S.

 1  Curran, M.D., Children's Health Center as described in

 2  subsection (1).

 3         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

 4  law, except that:

 5         (1)  Section 1 of this act shall take effect upon the

 6  effective date of the retirement or resignation of H. William

 7  Heller from, or the termination of H. William Heller's

 8  employment with, the University of South Florida St.

 9  Petersburg.

10         (2)  Section 2 of this act shall take effect upon the

11  effective date of the retirement or resignation of John S.

12  Curran from, or the termination of his employment with, the

13  University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
