  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the prohibition on

  3         prostitution; amending s. 796.07, F.S.;

  4         redefining the term "lewdness" to mean an

  5         indecent or obscene act done in the presence of

  6         any person, including a law enforcement

  7         officer; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section

12  796.07, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

13         796.07  Prohibiting prostitution, etc.; evidence;

14  penalties; definitions.--

15         (1)  As used in this section:

16         (b)  "Lewdness" means any indecent or obscene act done

17  in the presence of any person, including a law enforcement

18  officer.

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2005.
