12 following amendment:

15 Delete everything after the enacting clause

17 and insert:
18 Section 1. Paragraph (fff) is added to subsection (4)
19 of section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read:
20 320.08056 Specialty license plates.--
21 (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall
22 be collected for the appropriate specialty license plates:
23 (fff) Donate Organs-Pass It On license plate, $25.
24 Section 2. Subsection (58) is added to section
25 320.08058, Florida Statutes, to read:
26 320.08058 Specialty license plates.--
27 (58) DONATE ORGANS-PASS IT ON LICENSE PLATES.--
28 (a) The department shall develop a a Donate
29 Organs-Pass It On license plate as provided in this section.
30 The word "Florida" must appear at the top of the plate, and
31 the words "Donate Organs-Pass It On" must appear at the bottom

2 (b) The annual use fees shall be distributed to
3 Transplant Foundation, Inc., a tax-exempt organization under
4 s. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code which is affiliated
5 with the University of Miami School of Medicine. Transplant
6 Foundation, Inc. shall use the proceeds to provide patient
7 services, including preoperative, rehabilitative, and housing
8 assistance, organ donor education and awareness programs, and
9 medical research.
10 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.

19 An act relating to license plates; amending ss.
20 320.08056 and 320.08058, F.S.; creating a
21 Donate Organs-Pass It On license plate;
22 providing for the distribution of annual use
23 fees received from the sale of such plates;
24 providing an effective date.
