14 On page 5, between lines 4 and 5,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Paragraph (f) of subsection (5) of section
18 373.4592, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 373.4592 Everglades improvement and management.--
20 (5) ACQUISITION AND LEASE OF STATE LANDS.--
21 (f) The corporation conducting correctional work
22 programs under part II of chapter 946 shall be entitled to
23 renew, for a period of 99 20 years, its lease with the
24 Department of Corrections which is in effect on July 1, 2006
25 expires June 30, 1998, which includes the utilization of land
26 for the production of sugar cane, and which is identified as
27 lease number 2671 with the board of trustees. The renewal must
28 commence on or before the expiration of such lease.
