11 The Committee on Transportation (Sebesta) recommended the
12 following substitute for amendment (081492):

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 3, lines 25 through 28, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (2) Notwithstanding paragraph (b) of subsection (3) of
19 s. 212.0606, as created by SB 2632, the proceeds of the local
20 surcharge imposed under paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of s.
21 212.0606, as created by SB 2632, collected in Broward,
22 Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties shall be directed to the
23 authority to fund its capital, operating and maintenance
24 expense. The proceeds of the local surcharge shall be
25 dedicated to the authority only if Broward, Miami-Dade, and
26 Palm Beach counties each impose the local surcharge provided
27 by s. 212.0606.
