11  The Committee on Transportation (Dockery) recommended the
12  following amendment to substitute amendment (955434):
13  
14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 3, lines 9-22, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  2007, and shall be composed of the following 19
18  members:
19         1.  The President of the Senate, the Speaker of the
20  House of Representatives, and the Governor shall each appoint
21  one member from each of the following groups:
22         a.  The mining industry.
23         b.  The construction industry.
24         c.  The transportation industries, including seaports,
25  trucking, railroads, or roadbuilders.
26         d.  Elected officials representing counties identified
27  by the Department of Transportation as limestone or sand
28  resource areas. At least one elected official must represent a
29  county having a population of 75,000 or less, or a county
30  having a population of 100,000 or less that is contiguous to a
31  county having a population of 75,000 or less.
