11  The Committee on Community Affairs (Haridopolos) recommended
12  the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         Delete everything after the enacting clause

17  and insert:  
18         Section 1.  Section 195.052, Florida Statutes, is
19  amended to read:
20         195.052  Research and tabulation of data.--The
21  department shall conduct constant research and maintain
22  accurate tabulations of data and conditions existing as to ad
23  valorem taxation, shall annually publish such data as may be
24  appropriate to facilitate fiscal policymaking, and shall
25  annually make such recommendations to the Legislature as are
26  necessary to ensure that property is valued according to its
27  just value and is equitably taxed throughout the state. Such
28  data shall include the annual percentage increase in total
29  nonvoted ad valorem taxes levied by each municipality and
30  county, and shall include information on the distribution of
31  ad valorem taxes levied among the various classifications of

Such data 3 shall include the previous year's adopted millage rate, the 4 current year's millage rate, and the current increase in taxes 5 levied above the rolled-back rate. Such data shall, at a 6 minimum, be published on the department's website and on the 7 websites of all property appraisers of this state, if 8 available. Publication shall occur not later than 90 60 days 9 after receipt of extended rolls for all counties pursuant to 10 s. 193.122(7). 11 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007, 12 and shall apply to the January 1, 2008 tax roll and to all tax 13 rolls thereafter. 14 15 16 ================ T I T L E A M E N D M E N T =============== 17 And the title is amended as follows: 18 Delete everything before the enacting clause 19 20 and insert: 21 A bill to be entitled 22 An act relating to the research and tabulation 23 of data for purposes of ad valorem taxation; 24 amending s. 195.052, F.S.; specifying specific 25 data to be used for tabulating property 26 valuation and taxation, including information 27 concerning ad valorem taxes and millage rates; 28 requiring that such data be published on the 29 website of the Department of Revenue and on all 30 property appraiser websites if available; 31 providing that the data applies to the January 2 5:53 PM 03/26/07 s0560.ca26.001
