11  The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Deutch) recommended
12  the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 171, between lines 4 and 5,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 37.  (1)  The Office of the Auditor General
19  shall conduct a review of Citizens Property Insurance
20  Corporation to determine whether the administrative structure,
21  claims handling, staffing, and other available resources of
22  Citizens are adequate to efficiently and effectively implement
23  the following provisions of this act:
24         (a)  Expanding the current book of business of Citizens
25  to include writing multiperil policies in areas eligible for
26  coverage in the High Risk Account; and
27         (b)  Assuming the commercial coverage presently written
28  by the Property and Casualty Joint Underwriting Association
29  and expanding Citizens commercial coverage statewide.
30         (2)  As part of this review, the Office of Auditor
31  General will evaluate Citizens' current and proposed business
