An act relating to consumer protection; requiring any

contract for improvements to a primary or secondary

4

residence to include a form that states the homeowner's

5

rights under the contract; requiring the Department of

6

Business and Professional Regulation to adopt such form;

7

providing an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

     Section 1. Any contract for improvements to a primary or

12

secondary residence shall include a form, adopted by the

13

Department of Business and Professional Regulation, which states

14

the homeowner's rights under the contract.

     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
