3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Between lines 1298 and 1299, insert:
5     Section 11.  Subsection (5) is added to section 1006.25,
6Florida Statutes, to read:
7     1006.25  School buses.--School buses shall be defined and
8meet specifications as follows:
9     (5)  SPONSORSHIP.--
10     (a)  A school bus may be sponsored according to district
11school board policies that provide for private sponsorships as
12follows:
13     1.  Any individual or business entity may sponsor a school
14bus by paying a fee to be set by the district school board. Up
15to 5 percent of the fees collected may be used to pay the cost
16of an advertising agent involved in the sponsorship. The
17remaining funds shall be used by the district school board for
18school transportation purposes.
19     2.  There may be only one business entity sponsor per
20school bus. Individual sponsorships or cosponsorships shall be
21permitted.
22     (b)  The design, placement, and size of signage on the
23exterior of a school bus acknowledging the sponsor of the school
24bus shall be prescribed by rule of the State Board of Education.
