       The Committee on Finance and Tax (Altman) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 49 and 50
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Present subsection (5) of section 316.192,
    6  Florida Statutes, is redesignated as subsection (6), and a new
    7  subsection (5) is added to that section, to read:
    8         316.192 Reckless driving.—
    9         (5) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, an
   10  additional charge in the amount of $300 shall be added to any
   11  fine imposed pursuant to this section. One hundred fifty dollars
   12  from each such charge shall be remitted to the Department of
   13  Revenue for deposit into the Emergency Medical Services Trust
   14  Fund and $150 shall be remitted to the Department of Revenue for
   15  deposit into the Education Enhancement Trust Fund.
