GENERAL BILL by Communications, Energy, and Public Utilities ; King

Broadband Internet Service [EPSC]; Authorizes the Department of Management Services (DMS) to engage in certain activities related to assessing the need for broadband Internet service in the state, plans for such service, and encourages the statewide deployment of such service. Authorizes the DMS to apply for and accept certain funds. Authorizes the DMS to enter into contracts. Authorizes the DMS to establish committees or workgroups. Authorizes the DMS to adopt rules.
