       The Committee on Higher Education (Oelrich) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 38 - 46
    4  and insert:
    5         (3)(a) In order to maintain a license by means of
    6  accreditation, each licensed institution shall:
    7         1. Provide to the commission, on or before January 1, 2010,
    8  a site report prepared by its accrediting agency which includes
    9  a visit to each location licensed in the state.
   10         2. Request affirmation site visits as necessary to maintain
   11  its accreditation and file with the commission the site report
   12  prepared by the accrediting agency which shall include a visit
   13  to each location licensed in the state.
   14         (b) The commission, at its discretion, may request a site
   15  visit to be performed by the accrediting agency for purposes of
   16  investigating any suspected violation of this chapter or rule of
   17  the commission.
