| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |

| 10 | Section 1. Section 189.4221, Florida Statutes, is created |
| 11 | to read: |
| 12 | 189.4221 Purchases from purchasing agreements of special |
| 13 | districts, municipalities, or counties.--Special districts may |
| 14 | purchase commodities and contractual services, other than |
| 15 | services the acquisition of which is governed by s. 287.055, |
| 16 | from the purchasing agreements of other special districts, |
| 17 | municipalities, or counties which have been procured pursuant to |
| 18 | competitive bid, requests for proposals, requests for |
| 19 | qualifications, competitive selection, or competitive |
| 20 | negotiations and which are otherwise in compliance with general |
| 21 | law if the purchasing agreement of the other special district, |
| 22 | municipality, or county was procured by a process that would |
| 23 | have met the procurement requirements of the purchasing special |
| 24 | district. |
| 25 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009. |
