| 5 | (b) A deed restriction or covenant entered after October |
| 6 | 1, 2001, or local government ordinance may not prohibit or be |
| 7 | enforced to prohibit any property owner from implementing |
| 8 | Xeriscape or Florida-friendly landscaping landscape on his or |
| 9 | her land or create any requirement or limitation in conflict |
| 10 | with any provision of part II of this chapter or a water |
| 11 | shortage order, other order, consumptive use permit, or rule |
| 12 | adopted or issued pursuant to part II of this chapter. |
| 13 | (c) A local government ordinance may not prohibit or be |
| 14 | enforced to prohibit any property owner from implementing |
| 15 | Florida-friendly landscaping on his or her land. |
