House Concurrent Resolution
2A concurrent resolution extending the 2009 Regular Session
3of the Florida Legislature under the authority of Article
4III, Section 3(d) of the State Constitution.

6     WHEREAS, the 60 days of the 2009 Regular Session of the
7Florida Legislature will expire on May 1, 2009, and the
8necessary tasks of the session have not been completed, NOW,
9THEREFORE,

11Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of
12Florida, the Senate Concurring:
13
14     That the 2009 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature is
15extended until 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2009, under the
16authority of Article III, Section 3(d) of the State
17Constitution.
18     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regular session so extended
19shall consider only the following matters:
20     (1)  Senate Bill 2600, the general appropriations bill, or
21any Senate and House Conference Committee Report thereon.
22     (2)  Senate Bill 2602, the appropriations implementing
23bill, or any Senate and House Conference Committee Report
24thereon.
25     (3)  Any bill, or any Senate and House Conference Committee
26Report thereon, under consideration before Saturday, May 2,
272009, by a Conference Committee appointed by each house.
28     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in both
29houses are indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from
30consideration of the respective house as of 12:00 a.m.,
31Saturday, May 2, 2009.
32     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon recess or adjournment
33Friday, May 1, 2009, either house may reconvene upon the call of
34its presiding officer.
