SB 1552: Unemployment Compensation

GENERAL BILL by Lynn

Unemployment Compensation; Defines the terms "community service" and "reemployment services." Provides that an unemployed individual is eligible to receive benefits if he or she participates in a community service program administered by a regional workforce board. Authorizes the Agency for Workforce Innovation to adopt rules. Conforms a cross-reference. Provides that community services are not covered by unemployment compensation. Conforms cross-references.
