       The Committee on Health Regulation (Fasano) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 315 - 394
    4  and insert:
    5         406.61 Selling, buying, or conveying human remains bodies
    6  outside or within state prohibited; exceptions;, penalty.—
    7         (1) Any person who sells or buys human remains any body or
    8  any part thereof, parts of bodies as described in this chapter
    9  or any person except a recognized Florida medical or dental
   10  school who transmits or conveys or causes to be transmitted or
   11  conveyed such remains body or part thereof parts of bodies to
   12  any place outside or within this state, commits a misdemeanor of
   13  the first degree, punishable as provided in s. ss. 775.082 or s.
   14  and 775.083. However, this chapter does not prohibit the
   15  anatomical board from transporting human remains specimens
   16  outside or within the state for educational or scientific
   17  purposes or prohibit the transport of human remains, any part of
   18  such remains bodies, parts of bodies, or tissue specimens for
   19  purposes in furtherance of lawful examination, investigation, or
   20  autopsy conducted pursuant to s. 406.11. Any person,
   21  institution, or organization that conveys human remains bodies
   22  or any part thereof within, parts of bodies into, or out of the
   23  state for medical education or research purposes shall notify
   24  the anatomical board of such intent and receive approval from
   25  the anatomical board.
   26         (2) Any entity accredited by the American Association of
