GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Criminal Justice ; Detert

Criminal Conduct; Defining the term “mental injury” with respect to the offenses of abuse, aggravated abuse, and neglect of a child; requiring that a physician or psychologist acting as an expert witness in certain proceedings have certain credentials; redefining the term “crime” for purposes of crime victims compensation to include additional forms of injury; redefining the term “victim” to conform with the modified definition of the term “crime”, etc.
