       The Committee on Budget (Negron) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 577 and 578
    4  insert:
    5         Section 4. A member of the Legislature is subject to drug
    6  testing under s. 112.0455(7)(b), (c), and (e), Florida Statutes.
    7  For purposes of this section, "employer" in s. 112.0455, Florida
    8  Statutes, means the President of the Senate or the Speaker of
    9  the House of Representatives, as appropriate. The President of
   10  the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall
   11  develop procedures for addressing positive drug test results
   12  from such testing.

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 2
   17  and insert:
   18         An act relating to drug-free workplaces;
   19         Delete line 68
   20  and insert:
   21         act; requiring that members of the Legislature be
   22         subject to drug testing under certain conditions;
   23         requiring the President of the Senate and the Speaker
   24         of the House of Representatives to develop procedures
   25         to address certain drug test results; providing an
   26         effective date.
