       The Committee on Transportation (Evers) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 955 and 956
    4  insert:
    5         Section 16. Subsection (5) of section 316.2068, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         316.2068 Electric personal assistive mobility devices;
    8  regulations.—
    9         (5) A county or municipality may prohibit the operation of
   10  electric personal assistive mobility devices on any road,
   11  street, sidewalk, or bicycle path under its jurisdiction if the
   12  governing body of the county or municipality determines that
   13  such a prohibition is necessary in the interest of safety.
