       The Committee on Budget (Fasano) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 27 - 28
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 2.  Subsection (2) of s.27.715, Florida Statutes,
    6  is amended to read:
    7         27.715 Capital Collateral Regional Counsel Trust Fund.—
    8         (2)Funds credited to the Capital Collateral Regional
    9  Counsel Trust Fund consist of compensation and reimbursements
   10  received from the federal government pursuant to 18 U.S.C. s.
   11  3006A for legal representation in both state and federal capital
   12  post-conviction proceedings to any person convicted and
   13  sentenced to death in this state who is without counsel due to
   14  indigency. Capital Collateral Regional Counsels administratively
   15  housed in the Justice Administrative Commission shall administer
   16  this fund.In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the State
   17  Constitution, the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel Trust Fund
   18  shall, unless terminated sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2013.
   19  Before its scheduled termination, the trust fund shall be
   20  reviewed as provided in s. 215.3206(1) and (2).
