       Senator Lynn moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (965714) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 858 and 859
    5  insert:
    6         Section 29. The Higher Education Coordinating Council,
    7  created pursuant to s. 1004.015, Florida Statutes, shall review
    8  and evaluate the current higher education governance structure
    9  in this state and shall make recommendations to the Legislature
   10  regarding potential revisions to the higher education delivery
   11  system to improve student services, access, affordability, and
   12  accountability. At a minimum, the council shall consider
   13  academics, fiscal efficiencies, and regional demographics. The
   14  council shall report its findings and recommendations to the
   15  Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the
   16  House of Representatives.
