GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Committee ; Frishe ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Adkins ; Ahern ; Gaetz ; Hager ; Harrison ; Nehr ; Patronis ; Sands ; Soto ; Tobia

Nursing Homes and Related Health Care Facilities; Clarifies that transfer & discharge of facility residents are governed by nursing home law; deletes requirement that resident care plan be signed by certain persons; deletes provisions requiring license applicant to submit signed affidavit relating to financial or ownership interests, number of beds, copies of civil verdicts or judgments involving applicant, & plan for quality assurance & risk management; provides that licensee must provide certain information relating to financial or ownership interests if requested by AHCA; revises provisions relating to provision of respite care in facility; repeals provisions relating to Medicaid "Up-or-Out" Quality of Care Contract Management Program; provides that health services administration or equivalent major shall satisfy education requirements for nursing home administrator applicants.
