GENERAL BILL by Wise

Career Education; Revising the general requirements for middle grades promotion to require that a course in career and education planning explore Florida’s Career Clusters; providing requirements for a career technical high school diploma; requiring a student and the student’s parent or guardian to agree in writing to the requirements of the career diploma track; requiring an intensive reading course or remediation in mathematics for a student who does not meet certain academic standards; providing that a career technical high school diploma is a standard high school diploma for purposes of federal and state accountability requirements, etc.
