Paragraph (b) of subsection (6) of section 14 893.13, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 15 893.13 Prohibited acts; penalties.— 16 (6) 17 (b) If the offense is the possession of not more than 20 18 grams of cannabis, as defined in this chapter, or 3 grams or 19 less of a controlled substance described in s. 893.03(1)(c)46. 20 50.,and114.-142., 151.-159., or 166.-169., the person commits 21 a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 22 775.082 or s. 775.083. For the purposes of this subsection, 23 “cannabis” does not include the resin extracted from the plants 24 of the genus Cannabis, or any compound manufacture, salt, 25 derivative, mixture, or preparation of such resin, and a 26 controlled substance described in s. 893.03(1)(c)46.-50.,and27 114.-142., 151.-159., or 166.-169., does not include the 28 substance in a powdered form.
