    4  insert:
    5         Section 3. Section 408.0363, Florida Statutes, is created
    6  to read:
    7         408.0363Rural nursing homes; exemption.—If an operator of
    8  a nursing home has 500 or more beds in service within a 15-mile
    9  radius of the nursing home, the operator is eligible to receive
   10  a hospice certificate of need for 80 beds. This hospice
   11  certificate of need is exempt from the certificate-of-need rules
   12  governing hospice licenses. This section applies only to a
   13  nursing home located in a county that is considered rural in
   14  nature.
