       The Committee on Health Policy (Bean) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (131818) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 28 - 34
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) A specialty-licensed children’s hospital that has
    6  licensed neonatal intensive care unit beds and is located in a
    7  county with a population of 1,750,000 or more may provide
    8  obstetrical services, in compliance with the agency’s rules
    9  pertaining to the obstetrical department in a hospital, to up to
   10  10 beds for labor and delivery care, which services are
   11  restricted to the diagnosis, care, and treatment of pregnant
   12  women of any age who have documentation by an examining
   13  physician that includes information regarding:
