       Senator Evers moved the following:
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    3         Between lines 679 and 680
    4  insert:
    5         Section 9. Subsection (3) of section 394.658, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         394.658 Criminal Justice, Mental Health, and Substance
    8  Abuse Reinvestment Grant Program requirements.—
    9         (3) Using the criteria adopted by rule, the county
   10  designated or established criminal justice, juvenile justice,
   11  mental health, and substance abuse planning council or committee
   12  shall prepare the county or counties’ application for the 1-year
   13  planning or 3-year implementation or expansion grant. The county
   14  shall submit the completed application to the statewide grant
   15  review committee. Nothing shall prohibit the county or counties
   16  from designating an agency that is a 501 (c) (3) who has been
   17  part of the planning council or committee from submitting the
   18  completed application to the statewide grant review committee or
   19  from accepting on behalf of the county or counties the funding
   20  to implement the Criminal Justice, Mental Health and Substance
   21  Abuse Reinvestment Grant.

   26  and insert:

   31  Justice Mental Health and Substance Abuse Reinvestment Grants on
