Section 400.996, Florida Statutes, is created to 7 read: 8 400.996 Enforcement contracts.—The agency may contract with 9 counties to enforce the Health Care Clinic Act and rules adopted 10 thereunder for clinics that are required to be licensed under 11 this part and that receive reimbursement for services under the 12 Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law. A contracting county must 13 directly enforce the state law and not through enforcement of 14 applicable locally adopted ordinances. A contracting county 15 shall report alleged violations of the act or part II of chapter 16 408 to the agency with supporting documentation. The agency 17 shall review the allegations and documentation and determine 18 whether such violations have occurred for the purposes of s. 19 400.995 and chapter 120. The agency shall provide the county 20 with the results of its initial review and its intended action 21 within 10 business days after receiving the report. Thereafter, 22 the agency shall provide notice to the county of any agency 23 action regarding the alleged violations within 5 business days 24 after such action. 25 26 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 27 And the title is amended as follows: 28 Delete line 453 29 and insert: 30 An act relating to insurance; creating s. 400.996, 31 F.S.; authorizing the Agency for Health Care 32 Administration to contract with counties to directly 33 enforce the Health Care Clinic Act; requiring alleged 34 violations of the act to be reported to the agency for 35 review; requiring the agency to report the results of 36 its review and any actions to the county within a 37 specified time; amending s. 624.425,
