SB 1548: Duval County

LOCAL BILL by Gibson

Duval County; Creating the Duval County Library District to provide public library services in the county; authorizing the levy of ad valorem taxes and the issuance of bonds to support the district; establishing that the Jacksonville Board of Library Trustees reports to the governing board; requiring a referendum, etc.

Effective Date: Only upon its approval by a majority vote of the electors of Duval County voting in a referendum to be held in conjunction with the election to be held in Duval County on March 24, 2015, except that this section and section 9 shall take effect upon becoming a law
