       Senator Sobel moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 2469 - 2479
    4  and insert:
    5         4. Managed care plans serving children in the care and
    6  custody of the Department of Children and Families must maintain
    7  complete medical, dental, and behavioral health encounter
    8  information and participate in making such information available
    9  to the department or the applicable contracted community-based
   10  care lead agency for use in providing comprehensive and
   11  coordinated case management. The agency and the department shall
   12  establish an interagency agreement to provide guidance for the
   13  format, confidentiality, recipient, scope, and method of
   14  information to be made available and the deadlines for
   15  submission of the data. The scope of information available to
   16  the department shall be the data that managed care plans are
   17  required to submit to the agency. The agency shall determine the
   18  plan’s compliance with standards for access to medical, dental,
   19  and behavioral health services; the use of medications; and
   20  followup on all medically necessary services recommended as a
   21  result of early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and
   22  treatment.
