GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Committee ; Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee ; Health Innovation Subcommittee ; Ahern ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell ; Perry

Health of Residents; Provides respective responsibility of Medicaid prepaid behavioral health plans & managing entities under contract with DCF for mental health residents; requires certain facilities licensed as ALFs to be licensed as extended congregate care facilities; includes recovery care centers as facilities licensed under ch. 395, F.S.; provides admission criteria for recovery care center; authorizes AHCA to establish separate standards for such centers; provides requirements for transitional living facilities with respect to licensure, policies & procedures, & safekeeping of client property & funds; provides penalties; authorizes grandparent of minor child to petition court for visitation; provides for great-grandparent's right to notice of adoption. APPROPRIATION: $159,308
