       Appropriations Subcommittee on Education (Bullard) recommended
       the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 544
    4  and insert:
    5  administered during that school year. The parent of a student in
    6  a school district that does not choose to administer a rigorous
    7  alternative assessment option pursuant to subsection (2) may
    8  choose for his or her child to individually take the rigorous
    9  alternative assessment option. The parent must notify the
   10  district by August 10, 2016, in writing, if he or she selects
   11  this option for his or her child.
