       Senator Evers moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 371 - 384
    4  and insert:
    5         (c)By July 1, 2016, the 5 dispensing organizations chosen
    6  for low-THC cannabis may seek authorization to produce medical
    7  cannabis, as authorized by this section, only after the
    8  Department of Health has received and approved additional
    9  information in a supplemental application process.
   10         (d)By July 1, 2016, the Department of Health shall
   11  authorize an additional 15 dispensing organizations that meet
   12  the requirements of subparagraphs (b)2.-7. and demonstrate the
   13  technical and technological ability to cultivate and produce
   14  medical cannabis and low-THC cannabis. A new application process
   15  shall begin immediately upon this act becoming law. An applicant
   16  involved in an ongoing administrative licensure challenge is not
   17  eligible to apply.

   20  And the title is amended as follows:
   21         Delete lines 28 - 33
   22  and insert:
   23         five dispensing organizations to produce low-THC
   24         cannabis and seek authorization to produce medical
   25         cannabis subject to certain requirements; requiring
   26         the department to authorize an additional 15
   27         dispensing organizations that meet certain
   28         requirements; providing an application process for the
   29         additional dispensing organizations; providing that
   30         certain applicants are ineligible to apply for
   31         licensure;
