       Senator Ring moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1613 and 1614
    4  insert:
    5         (10) ELIGIBLE STUDENTS.—
    6         (d) A charter school may give enrollment preference to the
    7  following student populations:
    8         1. Students who are siblings of a student enrolled in the
    9  charter school.
   10         2. Students who are the children of a member of the
   11  governing board of the charter school.
   12         3. Students who are the children of an employee of the
   13  charter school.
   14         4. Students who are the children of:
   15         a. An employee of the business partner of a charter school
   16  in-the-workplace established under paragraph (15)(b) or a
   17  resident of the municipality in which such charter school is
   18  located; or
   19         b. A resident or employee of a municipality that operates a
   20  charter school-in-a-municipality pursuant to paragraph (15)(c)
   21  or allows a charter school to use a school facility or portion
   22  of land provided by the municipality for the operation of the
   23  charter school.
   24         5. Students who have successfully completed a voluntary
   25  prekindergarten education program under ss. 1002.51-1002.79
   26  provided by the charter school or the charter school’s governing
   27  board during the previous year.
   28         6. Students who are the children of an active duty member
   29  of any branch of the United States Armed Forces.

   35         Section 20. Paragraph (d) of subsection (10) and paragraph
