House Comm: FAV . 10/22/2015 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Detert) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 927 - 936 4 and insert: 5 (f) Upon receipt of a child’s completed comprehensive 6 assessment, the child’s case manager will review the assessment, 7 and document whether a less restrictive, more family-like 8 setting for the child is recommended and available. The 9 department must document determinations resulting from the 10 comprehensive assessment in the Florida Safe Families Network 11 and update the case plan to include identified needs of the 12 child, specified services and supports to be provided by the 13 out-of-home care placement setting to meet the needs of the 14 child, and diligent efforts to transition the child to a less 15 restrictive, family-like setting. 16
