       Senator Legg moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (274472) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 2570 and 2571
    5  insert:
    6         Section 24. Notwithstanding s. 1002.69(5), Florida
    7  Statutes, for the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Voluntary
    8  Prekindergarten Education program years, the office shall not
    9  adopt a kindergarten readiness rate. Any private prekindergarten
   10  provider or public school that was on probation pursuant to s.
   11  1002.67(4)(c), Florida Statutes, for the 2013-2014 program year,
   12  shall remain on probation until the provider or school meets the
   13  minimum rate adopted by the office. This section expires July 1,
   14  2017.

   17  And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 2767
   19  and insert:
   20         by the act; prohibiting the office from adopting a
   21         kindergarten readiness rate for the 2014-2015 and
   22         2015-2016 Voluntary Prekindergarten Education program
   23         years; providing that any private prekindergarten
   24         provider or public school that was on probation for
   25         the 2013-2014 program year remains on probation until
   26         meeting the minimum kindergarten readiness rate
   27         adopted by the office; providing for future
   28         expiration; providing effective dates.
