GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Brandes ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Clemens

Sentencing; Specifying requirements for sentencing and appeals of sentences for offenses committed on or after a certain date; specifying requirements for imposing an upward departure sentence; authorizing a defendant to appeal a sentence outside a specified range; authorizing a court to sentence certain offenders to a term in county jail for up to 24 months if the offender meets specified criteria and if the county has a contract with the Department of Corrections, etc.
