       The Committee on Health Policy (Grimsley) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 17 - 21
    4  and insert:
    5  exceed one-half of its licensed beds, or for a hospice program
    6  established by an entity that shares a controlling interest, as
    7  defined in s. 408.803, with a not-for-profit retirement
    8  community that offers all of the following:
    9         1. Independent living.
   10         2. Assisted living.
   11         3. Nursing home services located on the same premises as a
   12  nursing home facility designated by the agency as a teaching
   13  nursing home for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with s.
   14  430.80.

   16  Only one hospice program per teaching nursing home may be
   17  established under the exemption in this paragraph.
