       Senator Braynon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 425 and 426
    4  insert:
    5         (3) POSSESSION.—Any person who possesses a bump-fire stock,
    6  or all of the parts necessary to build or assemble a bump-fire
    7  stock, must turn over the bump-fire stock, or all such parts, to
    8  his or her county sheriff’s department within 90 days after this
    9  act becomes law. The sheriff’s department shall certify and
   10  document the persons who have complied with this subsection and
   11  shall dispose of the bump-fire stock, or all such parts, in an
   12  appropriate manner within a reasonable amount of time. A person
   13  who violates this subsection commits a felony of the third
   14  degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s.
   15  775.084.
