       The Committee on Infrastructure and Security (Stargel)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 22
    4  and insert:
    5         (2) A person does not violate subsection (1) if he or she
    6  uses or threatens to use a firearm or any other weapon in lawful
    7  self-defense, lawful defense of others, or lawful defense of
    8  property.
    9         (3) A, and any person who violates subsection (1) convicted
   10

   12  And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete line 4
   14  and insert:
   15         specified intent; providing applicability; providing
   16         criminal penalties;
