       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Hutson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 814 - 818
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 26. The amendments made by this act to s. 95.11,
    6  Florida Statutes, apply to causes of action accruing after the
    7  effective date of this act.
    8         Section 27. This act shall not be construed to impair any
    9  right under an insurance contract in effect on or before the
   10  effective date of this act. To the extent that this act affects
   11  a right under an insurance contract, this act applies to an
   12  insurance contract issued or renewed after the effective date of
   13  this act.
   14         Section 28. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
   15  act, this act shall apply to causes of action filed after the
   16  effective date of this act.
   17         Section 29. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
