Maritime domain security awareness training program.

(1)

The Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Council, in conjunction with the Department of Law Enforcement and the Office of Drug Control within the Executive Office of the Governor, shall create a maritime domain security awareness training program to instruct all personnel employed within a seaport’s boundaries about the security procedures required of them for implementation of the seaport security plan required under s. 311.12(3).

The training program curriculum must include security training required pursuant to 33 C.F.R. part 105 and must be designed to enable the seaports in this state to meet the training, drill, and exercise requirements of 33 C.F.R. part 105 and individual seaport security plans and to otherwise comply with the requirements of s. 311.12.
